Pevensies to the rescue!

Prince Caspian ~ C.S. Lewis

Hello readers!

The fourth book in the Chronicles of Narnia is Prince Caspian, the story of a young boy’s fight to take his rightful place on the throne of Narnia…

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie are thrilled to be suddenly whisked back to the enchanted land of Narnia, only to be told that it is in trouble and needs their help. The evil King Miraz has usurped the throne from his nephew Caspian, the rightful king who discovers that his uncle is planning to kill him. Caspian has fled to find the Talking Beasts of Old Narnia but Miraz is on his trail and a war has now begun in what was once a peaceful kingdom. Only with the assistance of the Pevensies can Miraz be defeated once and for all…

This book is awesome! Despite being pretty slow and boring in places, it was quite cool to see how Narnia had changed over 1300 years. It may not have been a good plot, but the characters were more interesting in this book. The Pevensies were generally outlined more thoughtfully and I loved all of the new characters introduced. It’s not my favourite of the series, but it still tells a wonderful story and you’ll love it just the same!
